New EU appliance energy label from March 2021 | Miele
In December 2019, the EU Commission issued new directives on energy consumption labeling and on the eco design of dishwashers, refrigeration appliances, wine units, washing machines and washer-dryers. From March 2021, all manufacturers are required to provide a new-style label with all new appliances sold in the UK and Europe.
Fridges and Freezers
The EU energy labels for household fridges and freezers use, as of 1 March 2021, a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). The labels provide information on the product''s. The label for wine storage appliances also shows the number of bottles that can be stored.
Energy storage
The UK leads for large-scale energy storage facilities, with some 26GWh-worth of capacity expected to be created in the country by 2031. If we look at residential storage, Germany takes top spot, commanding 70% of Europe''s residential storage market. The full rankings see the UK, Italy, Germany, Spain and France lead for grid

European Energy
Energy storage
Energy storage. Storing energy so it can be used later, when and where it is most needed, is key for an increased renewable energy production, energy efficiency and for energy security. To achieve EU''s climate and energy targets, decarbonise the energy sector and tackle the energy crisis (that started in autumn 2021), our energy
Europe''s energy storage transformation
The European energy storage industry has witnessed remarkable growth over the last decade, going from 9MW of project announcements in 2010 up to a total of 5,700MW in 2020 (year to date). Out of these projects, around 1.7GW are operational while the remaining 4GW are either announced or under construction (Figure 1) [1]. arbitrage,

Battery storage
Battery storage is a technology in the renewable energy landscape. It allows excess power generated from renewable sources, such as solar and wind, to be stored and used when production is lower than consumption. This capability is essential for maintaining grid stability and ensuring a reliable supply of electricity to consumers. *Stock photo.
