Modeling and energy management of a photovoltaic‐fuel cell‐battery hybrid electric vehicle
Automobile power systems are increasingly in need of renewable and clean energy sources such as solar energy and fuel cells in the context of global warming. This article investigates the feasibility of a photovoltaic-fuel cell-battery hybrid electric vehicle (PVFCHEV) via a model-based approach and delivers two major original contributions.
Self-cleaning assisted photovoltaic system with thermal energy storage
The performance of self-cleaning assisted photovoltaic system with thermal energy storage (PV-TES-SC) has been studied under varied flow rate of 0.5 to 4 L per minute (LPM). Results shows that the PV-TES-SC attained a maximum thermal efficiency of 77.60% at a mass flow rate of 2 LPM.
